In a defining moment for medical education and student leadership in the country, Jerralson Paguio of Bicol University College of Medicine (BUCM) was named Top 2 in the โ€œNatatanging Mag-aaral ng Medisina ng Pilipinas 2026โ€ during the awarding ceremony on April 11. The award, one of the highest recognitions for Filipino medical students nationwide, placed Paguio among the most distinguished future physicians in the Philippines.
